I love New River Animal Hospital; I am always last minute on everything, and they always fit me in on their busy schedule. The staff are so professional, kind, and courteous. Excellent service! Took my dog in for a follow-up. She has skin problems. We tried a new medicine, and because it’s new, my dog wasn’t given enough of the medicine. Dr. Koressel called to inform me and then CAME TO MY HOUSE to give the rest of the dose. You don’t find service like that often today! Dedicated to helping animals 😁

I would like to commend New River Animal Hospital for the diligent services provided to my pets. Recently my dog Ginger got very sick. Because of the excellent health care given, my dog has recovered. Diagnosis and treatment were right on, and I thank Dr. Sarah, Dr. Connie, Ronielle, Kim, and the caring staff for saving my Ginger, who has an uncommon disease. As for my other pets, correct diagnosis and treatment plans are working well for my German Shepherd mix (allergies) and my senior tomcat. Thank you.

I moved here from California about 1 year 6 months ago and found this house in Nimitz, West Virginia. I brought my 3 dogs with me and checked in to the New River Animal Hospital to provide for their immunizations to be up to date and any other medical issues they may need. The staff and veterinarians there are first-rate and I am very pleased to have them so close by. When I went on a vacation for two weeks, they boarded them there and took great care of them.

I was visiting Hinton when my dog jumped the fence and was hit by a vehicle. My local friends called the hospital, and even though it was close to closing time, they waited for us to arrive. Everyone in the office was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, my dog had to be put down, and the team was so great about giving me time with Copper. If I lived in the area, I would not recommend anyone but them. Today, I received in the mail a paw print cast of Coppers, and it filled my heart with joy. It was from the hospital. It was such a wonderful gift. Thank you to everyone at the hospital.
